We take great pride in selecting the varieties of grass that make up our sod blend. Our blends have been proven over the years to adapt very well to this area of the country, and they should provide many years of enjoyment.

There are 5 Varieties of Bluegrass:

1. Quantum Leap
2. Award
3. Rugby II
4. P105
5. America

There are 4 Varieties of Fescue:

1. Masterpiece
2. Millennium
3. Rembrant
4. Crossfire II

Reasons for each:

Bluegrass: thinner blade, softer to touch, more commonly used in this area, lower growing, requires moderate maintenace

Fescue: wide blade, stands up to traffic, recommended for shady areas, roots deeper, resistant to insect & damage, coarser more upright, requires low maintenance
